Our 1st Bookham Christmas campfire on Sun 10th Dec 2017 was held indoors at Bookham Scouting Centre, but we had a “fake” fire, candles, a Christmas tree and lots of colourful Christmas lights to help create a great atmosphere, along with seasonal refreshments. Beavers sang a song about Peace, Cubs performed a sketch and a song and jokes and all had a good hearty sing of campfire songs with seasonal words and actions. Thanks to JC for leading the singing and for all the children, parents. family members. Friends Committee and Leaders who took part and helped with setting up and clearing up! We raised £240 for the Trussell Trust charity who provide emergency food packs and support for people in our area.
